Goodness! Last week was crazy! Last Sunday, I had a concert with the GDYO philharmonic orchestra at the Meyerson! It went really well! On Monday, I had quartet rehearsal with my quartet Bellissimi then followed by choir rehearsal with the Women's Youth Chorus of CCGD. Tuesday, I had All-region rehearsal. Wednesday, I had a violin private lesson. Thursday morning Bellissimi had another rehearsal then a gig at an art showing after school. Friday, I had another rehearsal with All-region. The conductor was amazing! Saturday, was completely filled with six hours of All-Region rehearsal! After, We had our concert and it didn't turn out too badly! It's always possible to do better! We only practiced the Elgar piece once before we performed it! Directly after the concert, my mom and I drove three hours (while speeding) to try to make it to my grandfather's birthday dinner in Lufkin, Texas. We ended up missing the dinner but my family had a nice get together when we got there. Both of my Aunts were there, my uncle, and cousin too. It was a good gathering. But the next day, Sunday, my mom and I had to drive back to Dallas in time to make another one of my rehearsals with the GDYO. Monday, yesterday, I had to wake up at five in the morning because my quartet, Bellissimi, had another gig at a breakfast gathering before school. After school I went to WYC choir rehearsal like every Monday night. And finally, tonight, I had a rather successful violin lesson in Plano!
