At Booker T., we have a block schedule which means our 9 classes are divided into two separate days; A and B days.
Here is my schedule:
A day: Chemistry PAP, French 3 PAP, lunch, Algebra 2 PAP, Varsity Orchestra, then English 2 PAP
B day: Music Theory AP, Symphony Orchestra, lunch, Algebra 2 PAP, World History AP, then Music History
My teachers seem to be very promising and i am looking forward to this year! This is my second year in attending an Arts school, and i must say, it is definitely different. Not everyone can take it. Like my AP World teacher, Mrs. Reitz, said, "you either hate this school, or you love it. nothing in between." Going to this school you are expected to do well in not only your academics, but also your cluster, or area of art that you are attending the school for. There are four clusters; Music, Dance, Theatre, and Visual Art. In these cluster classes, they attempt to prepare you to go and succeed at Music or whatever you choose to study. Though it is an arts school, many people have other intentions for their future than the arts, like myself. I plan to major in Psychology but minor in music, so somehow I may work in music into my future career.
So this was my first post, and in the future I might post things from my day, or share a funny quote that a teacher said. Pretty much just shavings of my life to keep track of.
Today: Talked with my favorite person in the world, Thornton Brown! haha good times darlin:)
